What will you be doing?

As an Agile Coach (m/f/d) in the Digital & IT Innovation Center team you will

  • promote and improve cooperation in the division and with the involved interfaces through support and coaching in learning their roles and the application of agile methods and attitude.
  • promote and support regular and gradual improvements (inspect & adapt) to achieve the "what" goal in the division and with the involved interfaces.
  • coordinate relevant topics as well as independent assumption and implementation in the moderation of relevant (rule) appointments, trainings or workshops for the division and with the involved interfaces.
  • track the value stream through the design, use and implementation of suitable metrics in the division and with the involved interfaces.
  • collect, track and support the elimination of impediments in the division and with the involved interfaces. 
  • identify potential disruptive factors or sources and foresight for early elimination or avoidance on an overarching level.
  • support the agile transformation in your own division and the direct interfaces; Experience in organizational development.

 

Customers, supplier and third parties:

  • The main customer is the division and the involved interfaces 
  • There are a variety of interfaces throughout the company, in particular to the other agile roles as well as the management level of the organization or the Vodafone Group. Stakeholder management is a central aspect of the role

 

Leadership and teamwork: 

  • Promotion and support of self-organization in the division with participating interfaces
  • Coaching and (indirect) leadership as servant leader, sparring partner, impulse and feedback provider in the division and with involved interfaces
  • Constant challenge to discard familiar working methods and to learn and apply new patterns of behavior in the division and with involved interfaces
  • Identification, tracking and elimination of bottlenecks in the division and with involved interfaces that impair the value streams, e.g. through the targeted use of tools
  • Support in establishing the culture of horizontal growth in the sense of T-shaping and mutual support in the division and with involved interfaces
  • Identification, tracking and best possible elimination of existing dependencies and interfaces in the division and with involved interfaces
  • Recognition, mediation and support in conflicts and conflict management in the division and with involved interfaces

 

Innovation and change:

  • Continuous training in order to recognize new tendencies and currents in the field of agile working methods, to use them in the division and to be able to convey them to the organization according to the situation
  • Conception, preparation and implementation (moderation) of trainings in the division and with involved interfaces

 

Communication:

  • Targeted selection of the communicated content and a suitable format as well as the ability to influence the course of meetings and workshops even through small impulses
  • Diplomatic skills and courage to discuss and resolve disruptive factors in the division and with involved interfaces
  • Flexible adaptation of the communication style depending on the situation, topic and contact person
  • Addressing clear, structured, timely and concrete feedback in the division and with involved interfaces
 

It would be nice if you have:

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Broad experience in transformation projects, broad knowledge of different organizational and scaling approaches of agile methods, adaptable communication style as well as a quick comprehension and abstraction ability
  • Strong empathy and sensitivity in interpersonal interaction and knowledge of human nature up to the level of the division
  • Promotion of an agile mindset and an open and trusting corporate culture based on the agile values in the team, with involved interfaces and at the divisional level

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • University of applied sciences/university degree, e.g. in business administration, marketing, or (business) informatics & at least 5 years of professional experience, of which at least 3 years in the field of corporate transformation & the introduction of scaled agile working methods, ideally in different industries and companies
  • Practical experience in the field of agile working methods, e.g. as an agile coach
  • Strong experience in conversation and coaching, ideally supported by a completed Agile Coaching training
  • Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken

 

This position may be full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours).
