At Vodafone, we work every day to build a better future. For a world that is better connected, more inclusive and more sustainable. Because for us, technology is only as strong as the people who use it. Be part of it and let's shape the world of tomorrow together.

What you can expect:
As Data Platforms and Mobile Private Network Engineer (Senior Expert) (m/f/d) you actively shape the Vodafone Spirit. You are involved in the selection of vendors in the defined area and are responsible for the definition and validation of the high-level architecture, HLD and LLD. You will be responsible for defining configuration guidelines and setting sizing and functionality/performance targets and creating a 1-3 year evolution plan aligned with the overall Data Core strategy and other technology areas such as PS Core and IP LAN. You will also take on the support and execution of solution acceptance and assist in the deployment of the platforms with the Engineering Delivery Team. In addition, you will deliver innovative technology products for Vodafone European Business customers by combining applied methodologies and innovative thinking. Our flexible working hours with part-time and home office options will allow you to successfully balance your personal life and your role as Data Platforms and Mobile Private Network Engineer (Senior Expert).

What distinguishes you:

  • You have solid knowledge of Mobile NW Architecture.
  • You are innovative and results-oriented, think analytically, and have the ability to work in a virtual team across multi-functional and multi-cultural boundaries to achieve results and change.
  • You have project management experience and are good at managing stakeholders.
  • You have business fluency in German and/or English according to GER.
  • You have a university degree in telecommunications and at least 5 years of professional experience.

This position may be full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours).

Severely disabled applicants will be given special consideration if they are equally qualified.

What we offer you:
You can flexibly arrange your working hours. And we also support you in achieving a good work-life balance. Home office and part-time work are possible with us - even as a manager. We support you and your family in all situations. In addition to a generous parental leave scheme, we actively help you with childcare or caring for relatives, for example. You decide which of our training and continuing education programs will support your individual development and apply your knowledge directly. Our health and mindfulness programs offer you a good balance. You work in international teams and contribute your skills there. Exchange ideas with colleagues in various networks and learn from each other. You will receive an attractive salary and a modern pension plan. What else do you need? Choose from many additional benefits exactly what fits into your life.

As part of Vodafone, we support you in a career that pays off. In every respect. It starts with you. It starts now.
