What awaits you:
As a Fiber Passive Engineer (m/f/d), you actively shape the Vodafone Spirit. You will participate independently and across departments in analyzing requirements, developing architectural concepts and developing technical solutions for fiber optic and coaxial cables, passive network elements and network technology accessories for fiber optic and coaxial cable networks, as well as for components for remote feeding of active transmission technology in cable networks. You will also be responsible for setting up fiber optic network wiring architectures, creating the E2E dimensioning architecture for the access and feeder line sections and the nodes in the passive network. You prepare analyses for the development and provision of the technical solution of components and materials for civil engineering (e.g. cable manholes, cable branch housings, cable conduits). You coordinate the execution of qualification and type sample tests as well as the release of fiber optic and coaxial cables, passive network components and materials for civil engineering as well as components for remote power supply. You can expect a high level of responsibility and collaboration in national and international projects and teams. This position may be full-time or near full-time part-time (minimum 30 hours).
