Senior Expert OSS Design Authority (m/f/d)

What you can expect: 

  • As Senior Expert (m/f/d) OSS Design Authority, you actively shape the Vodafone Spirit by designing world class OSS solutions. 
  • You are responsible for the design respectively the design guidelines for OSS domains such as Network Element Management, Fault Management, Performance Management or Probing 
  • You also develop the strategy for the respective OSS domain in close coordination with the end-to-end architecture. This implies the HLD creation, supplier coordination, OSS system landscape modernization and delivery roadmap ownership. 
  • You create business cases in close cooperation with the business units, the process owners and the finance department and represent the interests of the respective OSS domain in cross-functional/ cross-domain forums and programs. 


What distinguishes you: 

  • You have good knowledge of architectural methods and standards that are relevant to OSS (e.g. TOGAF, Cobit, Frameworxs, incl. SID, eTOM). 
  • You are customer-focused and have a systematic way of working. 
  • You have excellent office IT skills and analytical and organisational skills. 
  • You are business fluent in German and English (C1 as per CEFR). 
  • You have a degree in engineering, telecommunications, computer science or a similar qualification and at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of OSS engineering, IT development, solution design or software development. 

 

This position may be full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours).

We are filling this position at the Düsseldorf or Eschborn location for Vodafone Deutschland GmbH.
