VF?s SIM Technology Centre (STC) is accountable for the strategic evolvement, security, engineering, life cycle management and operational excellence of VF centrally provided SIM/eSIM products and solutions. This includes the ?classical? SIM, eSIM, eSIM provisioning systems and all current and future SIM/eSIM products and services. The main purpose of our work is to constantly ensure customer?s secure access to VF networks and services. This is achieved through a dedicated SIM security and SIM product strategy, which is also the basis for Vodafone to be compliant with telecommunication laws and regulations while also ensuring Vodafone?s billing integrity.
The STC enables Consumer and Enterprise organisation?to provide?connectivity and?services?to their customers?by deployment?of SIM/eSIM products, eSIM solutions and innovative SIM technologies,?drives the SIM digitalization and the introduction of new services.
The role Solution Architect (e)SIM
As the Solution Architect eSIM, you will drive the solution development in terms of quality and performance based on service data in close cooperation with service owner and takes the responsibility of the E2E quality of the solution. You will be responsible for our monitoring and reporting tools and capabilities. You will use monitoring and reporting tools to analyse service data, define and report service KPI values and identifies systematic service issues.
You will further define requirements and drive evolution of existing and new tools and reports with the aim to provide valuable data to customers and stakeholders for data driven decisions.
In the Solution Architect, we are looking for good knowledge about cloud infrastructure and automated test approaches to maintain and evolve the test concepts including test environment, test cases and validation of the correct implementation of local / global VF and customer components of the subscription management system.
You will identify service improvements, on central components as well as on market implementation and integration, and drive implementation of these in a collaborative way together with service owner, technical teams, local VF affiliates and vendors. This will include the impact evaluation of service and infrastructure changes, issues, new functionalities and the guidance to customers and service owner on service evolution.
? Responsibility for service quality E2E, service and reporting data in terms of availability and correctness, as well as the definition of KPIs to measure the service quality and performance. Use available monitoring- and reporting tools for that purpose and drive evolution of these tools.
? Provide analysis capabilities and define valuable reporting requirements to achieve transparency on service performance in the markets and to present the service quality over time. For this you work very closely together with our analytics team.
? Analyse the service quality and identify systematic failures and abnormal events, document these and drive corrective measures in close cooperation with technical teams within Group and local markets. Derive and address necessary changes of service to eSIM service owner.
? Define and evolve the test concept, including test environment and test cases to validate the correct implementation of subscription management system, working closely with our offshore QA test experts.
? Define and perform in close cooperation with the technical service owner the integration of different vendor subscription management system components and VF IT network infrastructure
What we are looking for:
? Proven experience and recognised knowledge of IP network and cloud technologies
? Knowledge about API testing, monitoring and data analytic tools
? Experience in mobile operator systems design (BSS, OSS, CSM, etc.) and eSIM architecture is beneficial
? Proven experience in quality assurance, service quality and data analytics skills
? Knowledge of web systems, authentication mechanisms and components: web servers, application servers, databases, HTTPS, JSON, XML, Web Services, RESTful APIs, PKI, TLS, Certificates
? Excellent communication skills
? Strong analytic and problems solving skills including assessment of log files from abstraction layer down to physical layer
? Ability to read, understand and implementing technical specification documents and standards
